Environmental Filmmaking
and Conservation Advocacy
Zoghogg Studios is passionate about environmental filmmaking and photography. We create impactful visual content that supports conservation and environmental protection efforts. Our studio’s founder David Izatt launched Sea Monsters Global in New Zealand, a project focused on ocean conservation and plastic awareness. Since then, Zoghogg Studios has worked closely with leading environmental charities to raise awareness of critical ecological issues.
Drawing on David’s 25 years of experience in engineering, surveying, and photogrammetry, Zoghogg Studios integrates this into its environmental projects. This expertise ensures accuracy and depth in our visual storytelling, helping to capture essential data for conservation efforts. Committed to sustainability, David drives an electric car and is a certified Marine Mammal Medic (trained through Project Jonah in Auckland, New Zealand), further reflecting his dedication to environmental stewardship.
With expertise in both film and photography as well as drones, Zoghogg Studios utilises cutting-edge technology to capture high-quality, non-invasive footage for environmental monitoring. The studio’s commitment to conservation is reflected in its projects, which aim to inspire global audiences and drive positive action for the planet.
Recent clients include Scottish Environment LINK (working with The Marine Conservation Society, FrogLife and WWF Scotland).
