What to Expect from a Full Brand Shoot

Elevating Your Business Image

Investing in a full brand shoot can feel like a big step for your business and for some that step might even feel like a giant leap. But a leap is often exactly what it is and it quickly takes you far closer to where you want to be rather than standing still. Just makes sense, doesn’t it?

Taking that ‘leap’ forward, transforms the way your brand is perceived. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refresh your brand, a professional shoot is about more than just taking pictures, it’s about telling your story visually and effectively. Here’s what you can expect when you book a full brand shoot with me at Zoghogg Studios.

Pre-Shoot Planning - Defining Your Brand Vision

Before any photos are taken, it’s important to understand your business inside and out. I send you a short workbook to complete, then begin with a detailed consultation to learn about your brand, target audience, and the message you want to convey. This stage involves discussing the following:

  • Brand Aesthetic: What is your brand’s style? Is it modern, minimalist, quirky, or luxurious?

  • Key Themes: What story do you want the visuals to tell? Whether it’s showcasing your products, team culture, or the customer experience, we’ll nail down the concepts.

  • Location Scouting: Do you want an in-office shoot, a dynamic outdoor setting, or a mix of both? We’ll discuss this to identify the best locations to highlight your brand’s essence.

Creating a Shot List

Once we have the vision, the next step is creating a detailed shot list. This ensures no important detail is missed. Typical shots could include:

  • Headshots & Team Photos: Perfect for personalising your brand and showcasing the people behind the business.

  • Product Photography: Whether it’s your latest product line or key services, we’ll capture the details in a way that stands out.

  • Lifestyle Photography: Showing your brand in action. This could be your team working, customers interacting with your products, or showcasing the environment you operate in.

The Shoot Day

On the day of the shoot, everything comes to life. Here’s how it typically unfolds:

  • Setup and Styling: Everything is set up, from lighting, props, and any required equipment. If we’re shooting in multiple locations, we plan each one carefully to keep things smooth and efficient.

  • Guidance and Direction: You don’t have to be a pro in front of the camera! I’ll guide you and your team throughout the shoot, ensuring everyone looks natural and confident. This includes posing tips, finding the best angles, and ensuring the shots align with your brand vision.

  • Collaborative Adjustments: Sometimes ideas evolve during the shoot. I’m flexible and can make adjustments on the fly to ensure the best results.

Post-Production

Once the shoot is done, the next stage is post-production. This is where the magic happens in terms of enhancing the visuals:

  • Editing: I’ll carefully select and edit the best shots, ensuring the lighting, colour balance, and overall look aligns with your brand. This step ensures that your photos not only look polished but also evoke the right emotional response from your audience.

  • Delivery: Depending on the package you choose, you’ll receive a selection of high-resolution images, ready for use on your website, social media, and marketing materials.

The Final Results

At the end of the process, you’ll have a set of visuals that truly represent your brand. Whether it’s your new website, product launch, or social media campaign, the images will be ready to elevate your brand identity and make a lasting impression.

A full brand shoot is more than just photography, it’s an investment in your business’s future. By the end of the process, you’ll have visuals that speak to your customers and align perfectly with your brand’s mission.
